With a weight?

M&K Crown Side Bends kettlebell

Last week we talked about a great standing ab exercise.
If you missed it, look HERE.

And you might have noticed the above kettlebell

And we have another great standing ab exercise that will
work those oblique muscles.

It can be done with weight like a kettlebell, dumbbell, or
without one, and just using isometric tension.

Standing Side Bends:
Stand with your feet hip-width apart and hold a dumbbell or
kettlebell in one hand. Keeping your back straight, bend
directly to the side, lowering the weight towards your knee.
Engage your obliques to lift yourself back up to the starting
position and repeat on the other side. This exercise targets
your oblique muscles.

Remember to start with a weight or resistance level that
challenges you but allows you to maintain proper form.

As with any exercise, it’s important to consult with a
healthcare professional before starting a new fitness
routine, especially if you have any pre-existing
medical conditions.
